The amount that the American sports brand Nike would pay the German Football Association for the contract of the national team is “unbelievable” for the CEO of Adidas Bjørn Gulden. He said this in response to media reports that Nike would pay 100 million euros per year to the Deutscher Fußball-Bund.
The Mannschaft has been playing in Adidas equipment for decades. But that will end in the future. He said Adidas would make an “adequate offer” to win the contract with the French Football Federation. Nike has that contract until 2026, but Adidas would like to remove it. Adidas says that it will not give more than a certain amount that the company has in mind. The French Football Federation will launch the offers soon.
