Nike, an American multinational sportswear company, has announced its acquisition of RTFKT Studios, which makes virtual footwear for the metaverse. This is reported on the site Nike.
In a press release, RTFKT Studios is called “a leading brand that uses cutting-edge innovation to create next-generation collectibles that combine culture and gaming.”
The American company noted that this deal is another step in Nike’s digital transformation. The terms of the deal remain unknown.
