As part of its environmental program “Move to Zero”, the company recently quietly launched an online store for used shoes – Nike Refurbished. Once someone trades in their old pair, Nike experts appraise it, clean it by hand, and put it up for sale at a discount of up to 50% off its original price.
Sneakers on the site are divided into three categories:
“Like new” – ideal or almost ideal models, without defects or signs of wear; “Slightly worn” – pairs with visible light wear or minor defects; “With minor defects” – shoes with no signs of wear, but with minor stains, marks, fading or other aesthetic imperfections.
