At 3:15 a.m., a BMW 3 series, occupied by several men (33 to 58) and a woman (33), races onto the forecourt of the emergency room. The group, which is part of a large family, wants to see their relative who is in the hospital because of a heart attack.

The visitors’ nerves are obviously on edge: they immediately insult the patient receptionist and become violent. Witnesses alert the police, several patrol cars move up. The victim says he was knocked out and complains of pain in the back of his head.
While some of those involved are still at the scene, two of the men and the woman fled in their car. Although the number plate of the car is known, the search remains unsuccessful. The police are now investigating what exactly happened and who struck.
Hospital spokesman Mathias Eberenz: “The fact that people who do their best every day to help other people and save lives are verbally and physically attacked is appalling.”
