The night of museums and galleries will continue until late after midnight with various events in the “Zachary Kniazhevski” regional library, in the ROME lapidary, in the “Knight” galleries, “Art IPEMA”, “Gallery 8” and others.

For the sixth time in a row, Stara Zagora will experience its Night of Museums and Galleries, in which almost all cultural institutes will participate, the organizers of the exciting event announced. It begins today at 6:30 p.m. at the Yuri Gagarin People’s Astronomical Observatory with the opening of a new exhibition of celestial objects. Thirty minutes later, a poetry marathon will begin in the “Geo Milev” house-museum with the participation of the poetess Leda Mileva, and an exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the opera prima Rene Yordanova will be opened in the building of the territorial state archive.

At the same time, in the halls of the art gallery, dance lovers can enjoy the folklore ensemble “Zagorche”, while their older colleagues from the state ensemble “Zagore” will show their skills in front of the building of the regional history museum. Precisely at 7 p.m., the restored Eski Mosque, which will act as a Museum of Religions in the future, will also open its doors. From 8 p.m., a brass band concert and performances by soloists from the State Opera will begin in the “Fifth of October” park. For the first time, journalists from Radio Stara Zagora will also participate, who will host a film marathon, in which three tapes about the lives of the artists Georgi Bozhilov-Slona, ​​Ivan Kirkov and Ivan Penkov will be shown.
