Lots of noise and fights on the night of 17 May
The police report noise, commotion and fighting in many places in the country on the night of 17 May.
In Tromsø, a man in his 20s is hospitalized after an episode of violence. A man in his 30s has been arrested.
At Slependen in Bærum, a person suffered a scratch on his upper body in a fight where he was threatened with a pointed object. One person was taken to emergency room, another was put in custody.
In Namsos, an 18-year-old man ended up in the emergency room with a broken nose. At Senja, two were taken to emergency room after a fight at Silsand. Also in Kristiansand, Sandnes, Stavanger, Kristiansund, Trondheim and Kirkenes, the police report arguments and fights.
In Stord, a Russian had to go to the emergency room for treatment after he was subjected to violence from a man in his 30s who tried to get onto a Russian bus.
At Grønmo near Oslo, the police had to intervene due to noise and a bad atmosphere among drunks, but the moods are said to have calmed down when the police arrived. At St. Hanshaugen, 1,000 young people were gathered, and many young people were heavily intoxicated, the police report.
Around 80 coach buses and 2,000 coaches were gathered at the Nebbenes kro in Romerike. After several reports of noise, the police intervened and the party ended.
In several places, there have been reports of fights without serious injuries or where the parties did not want to involve the police. Several people prone to arguments have been ordered to stay away from nightclubs and town centres.
