New York experienced a night of fires with at least four accidents that left extensive material damage, although no injuries were reported.
T he largest fire occurred in the Norwood area of the Bronx.
There, an apparent gas leak caused a fire that quickly spread through five commercial premises.
Three fire trucks came to contain the fire that damaged the businesses and even the roof of one of them collapsed.
The fire started at 4:00 in the morning.
Firefighters responded to put out another house fire in the Throggs Neck area.
The fire was reported at 2694 Shurz Avenue between Buttrick Avenue and Graff Avenue around 1:57 a.m.
The fire consumed the entire house and the partial collapse of the roof was even reported.
In Brooklyn, a two-alarm fire at a vehicle repair shop was reported at 1:42 a.m.
Firefighters came to contain the fire that damaged almost the entire premises.
Finally, in Queens, a fire in a house near El Calvario Cemetery was reported at 10:00 p.m. Monday night.
The firefighters managed to control the emergency.
In none of these events were injuries reported.
