It has been an eventful and busy night for the Innlandet police district, night to Sunday.

Later that night, a man in his mid-40s was stopped at Fv21 Eidskog and suspected of the same. In Brumunddal, a man in his early 40s was also reported for driving without holding a valid driver’s license, the police write on Twitter.

The police in Oslo fired shots at a person in Greenland in connection with an action against a hotel on the night of Sunday. The special unit is investigating the case.

An eyewitness tells Dagbladet that he heard two shots, and that a man has been taken to hospital. A hotel guest says that other guests witnessed the shooting. The man must have been lying on the ground afterwards.

In a press release from the Bureau sent out on the night of Sunday, it is confirmed that they have decided to launch an investigation after the shooting incident. Kripos has been notified and will assist with crime scene investigations.

Man in his 70s dies in drowning accident in Engerdal

A foreign citizen in his 70s has died after falling into a river and further down a waterfall in Engerdal municipality.

Man died in drowning accident in Rogaland

A man in his 70s died in a drowning accident in Lund municipality in Rogaland. The next of kin have been informed.

The emergency services were notified of the incident at 2.45 pm. The accident happened in a pond on Ualand in Lund. Witnesses have said that the man was swimming and disappeared under water. It is not clear why and how this happened.

The man was transported to Stavanger University Hospital by air ambulance, but on the night of Sunday the police confirmed that his life could not be saved.

Yellen says the relationship with China is on safer ground
