On Wednesday, Nielson responded for the first time to various rumors that he was cheating on his wife. The singer writes Instagram that he and Hanna are working out their marital problems.

“Following reports in various media, we wanted to let you know that we are working together to resolve the issues in our marriage. This part of our life is private and we keep it between us,” says the singer.

It’s the first time Nielson has addressed the rumors that surfaced last week. Screenshots were posted on Yvonne Coldeweijer’s juice channel of fans who had received messages from the singer and would be spending the evening with him. Nielson does not specifically name the entries.

Nielson and Hanna got married in 2016.
