Kitty, the daughter of Earl Charles Spencer and his first wife Victoria Lockwood, got married in Italy last weekend. The wedding party took place in a beautiful 17th century castle.

For the fairytale wedding, no fewer than five dresses were pulled from the closet, all designed by Dolce & Gabbana. Diana’s niece is brand ambassador of the fashion house. All gowns were handmade and ranged from colorful embroidery on tulle to a Victorian high-necked white dress with long sleeves.

This lace gown is inspired by her mother’s wedding dress.

Remarkably enough, one accessory was missing during the wedding: the Spencer tiara. The tiara was worn by her mother on her wedding day in 1989 and Princess Diana also wore the tiara on her wedding day in 1981.

In addition to the tiara, there was another great absentee: Earl Charles Spencer. Princess Diana’s brother did not accompany his daughter to the altar on Saturday night. Instead, she was assisted by her two brothers: Louis Spencer and Samuel Aitken.
It is not known why the count was not present, but it could of course have to do with the corona measures regarding traveling abroad.
