It is the cheese “Nidelven Blå” that ran away with the victory, writes NRK.
– It is completely incredible. It’s so big. We have been making cheese for 25 years. This means so much, says managing director Maren Gangstad to the channel.
– We did not expect this at all, and it is extra fun that the entire cheese factory is in place here, she continues.
Of the more than 4,500 cheeses that took part in the competition, almost 300 of them were Norwegian.
A total of 260 judges took part in the selection.
Haven’t had enough cheese?
