Nicoletta Mantovani, the widow of Luciano Pavarotti will marry again. She announces it herself to the weekly Chi on newsstands tomorrow. Bolognese, 50 years old, Alice’s mother, had by the tenor in 2003, Mantovani claims that she has finally fallen in love and that the wedding, in the church, will take place in September in Bologna. He is a company manager to whom the widow Pavarotti has been linked for about 9 months. Almost love at first sight, in short: A mutual friend introduced us and was immediately love, Mantovani told the weekly, adding: Pavarotti will always remain an important person in my life and will continue to follow his memory, as a great artist deserves like him. But as Luciano always reminded me, life must be lived in every moment to the fullest, always trying to have a smile, and Alberto makes me relive a great joy. Ours a deep love, a true magic.
Lucano Pavarotti passed away on 6 September 2007 in Modena. The tenor and Nicoletta Mantovani were married in the municipal theater of Modena on December 13, 2003. It was the weekly Chi that revealed the love between the tenor and the young secretary in 1996.
