Nicole was sex years old when she and her mother Anita got in the car for a long journey. The mother is described by Nicole as something of a seeker, who through acquaintances has heard about a community in the forests of Ångermanland. Led by a man from the Native American population, they would create a self-sufficient society, live in harmony with nature – and eventually save the planet.
