The creator of the pop group claims that Nicole Scherzinger is sticking sticks in the wheels of the reunion tour.

Robin Antin (60), the choreographer who once founded the Pussycat Dolls, has therefore sued frontman Nicole Scherzinger (43).
According to the lawsuit, Scherzinger refuses to participate in the tour unless she gets full control of all the creative, as well as a larger share of the financial settlement.

Antin claims according to People that Scherzinger fails to comply with an agreement they entered into two years ago, which meant that Scherzinger would receive 49 percent of the profits. According to the plaintiff, Scherzinger now demands a new agreement, in which she is instead promised 75 percent.
Scherzinger’s lawyer, Howard King, snorts at the lawsuit. He describes Antin’s claims as “foolish and untrue”. He claims that the Pussycat Dolls creator is trying to put the blame for failed plans on Scherzinger.

At the same time, it became known that the women were planning a major reunion with a world tour, which had to be postponed due to the pandemic. It is thus this tour that is in dispute, because it now appears highly uncertain whether there will be any reunion at all.
–According to the lawsuit, concert organizer Live Nation is demanding a refund of the approximately five million kroner they invested in the project. However, Howard King denies that Scherzinger is responsible for the situation they have found themselves in.
“Robin will fail in his attempts to take advantage of Nicole’s hard-earned success to get her out of the great financial disability Robin himself has caused in the form of bad and unprofessional decisions,” King said.
The lawyer assures that Scherzinger loves and respects Pussycat Dolls fans, and that she hopes sometime in the future to be on stage and perform the group’s hits again.
– Unfortunately, this will not happen under these circumstances.

Pussycat Dolls had its heyday in the 2000s and is known for hit songs “Don’t Cha”, “Buttons” and “Stickwitu”. The group originally saw the light of day in 1995, then as burlesque dancers in Los Angeles – already then under Robin Antin’s leadership.
