OR Nicole Kyriakopoulou announced in a post on Instagram that she has completed her career in professional sports. Charting a 22-year career in the long jump, the 38-year-old athlete shared some of her thoughts.
“I feel happy and complete because throughout this journey I felt your presence at every moment… Without you everything would be twice as difficult,” she wrote, among other things, in the relevant message.

An exciting journey that had it all and filled me with memories… I keep the joys… the successes… without forgetting the hard ones.. because everything worth in life needs sacrifices to get it. All together I feel indelible marks.. like tattoos.. on my body and soul.. my own awards for the next day.
