BIOGRAPHY
Son and grandson of a winegrower, Nicolas Thierry lives in Entre-deux-Mers, in the south of the Gironde. It is on these rural lands that he forged his relationship with life and biodiversity.
After a baccalaureate in management sciences, he continued his studies in sociology at the Faculty of Bordeaux, and finally, environmental psychology at the Sorbonne where he obtained a DESS.
In 2014, at almost 40 years old, he resumed studies in evening classes in Nanterre and obtained a master’s degree in history.
HIS POLITICAL COMMITMENT
A long-time activist, he has worked in various environmental, youth and development aid structures in associations.
At the same time, his commitment to the defense of biodiversity has led him to invest in public action since 2005 with Europe Écologie Les-Verts.
“The urgency of the situation prompted me to get involved. This fight requires daily vigilance but also a lot of enthusiasm as there is still to be done. »
