Venezuelan prosecutor says trial with fewer incidents in recent years
Venezuela’s Attorney General Tarek William Saab has said that the electoral process that concluded this Sunday in the Latin American country on the occasion of the presidential elections has been the one with the “fewest incidents” in recent years.
“We have been watching and monitoring this historic day. We can say that, in the last seven years, this has been the electoral process with the fewest incidents. I ask for a round of applause for the people of Venezuela,” he said, according to Globovisión.
Saab said that it was a “quick and smooth process in streamlining the human right to vote” and added that the authorities are “in contact with the majority of national and international electoral observers” who “have been able to see the joy” of the people.
