Salzburg. (PM EC RBS) EC Red Bull Salzburg has signed Danish striker Nicolai Meyer.
The 30-year-old already played in last season Salzburg played and scored the decisive goal for the championship in the seventh final game in Bolzano. Meyer is moving from IF Björklöven in the Swedish second division to Salzburg and will strengthen the Red Bulls in the final phase of the championship.

For Nicolai Meyer it is the return to his old place of work. The striker already played in Salzburg last season and helped the Red Bulls to their eighth championship title with his goal in a 2-1 win in the decisive final game in Bolzano. Before that, the Dane played one season with the spusu Vienna Capitals in the win2day ICE Hockey League and also represented his country at the Olympic Games in Beijing 2022 (1 goal, 1 assist in 5 games). With IF Björklöven, Meyer had 12 goals and 15 assists in 43 games this season.
