In April last year, it became known that Danish Nicklas Bendtner (34) and model girlfriend Philine Roepstorff (29) chose to go their separate ways after three years as lovers.
The fans were able to follow the couple closely through the Discovery series “Bendtner and Philine”, but to VG could Roepstorff announce last year that she and Bendtner no longer share the same values.
Now, however, it seems that the former footballer has found happiness again.
Sharing romantic photos
On Instagram on Thursday, Bendtner shares a photo of himself together with the Swedish model Clara Linnea Wahlqvist (22).
– Now I will never forget your birthday, writes the 34-year-old to a picture together with Wahlqvist.

The picture comes in the wake of a long period of romance speculation. Already in February, the Danes reported Here & Now that the football star had fallen in love with the Swedish model, but it is not until now that the couple confirms the relationship and shows each other off.
Wahlqvist also pretends to be very much in love during the day.
On her Instagram profile, she has also shared a number of photos from what appears to be a romantic holiday trip together with Nicklas Bendtner.
– In love, writes the 22-year-old to one picture.
Turbulent love life
It is not exactly a secret that the Danish footballer’s love life has not always been a bed of roses.
During his relationship with Philine Roepstorff, the 34-year-old made headlines with an affair he had with a Danish 20-year-old.
The breakup was anything but painless. In the series “Bendtner and Philine”, Roepstorff spoke candidly about how the breakup took place.
Bendtner also opened up about the time after the breakup.

– I know I’m not ready for anything serious. I’m going to enjoy myself, that’s for sure, but my main focus is on where I want to be in my coaching career and what kind of father I want to be to Nicholas, he stated in the series, adding:

In the same series, Bendtner also spoke cryptically about his first meeting with his current girlfriend, Wahlqvist. At that point they had met a few times over the course of a few months.
– She is a different girl than what I am used to. She is much calmer and quieter, and more down to earth. Which I would say can be a bit boring, he stated in the series, reproduced by Here and now.
Roepstorff has also moved on after the turbulent relationship with Bendtner. According to Danish See and listen Roepstorff has found the tone with a new Danish footballer – 22-year-old Jacob Bruun Larsen, who has played for Denmark’s U21 national football team.
