Singer Nicki Minaj’s father was run over last Friday afternoon in New York City.
64-year-old Robert Maraj was walking the streets of Mineola, Long Island at 6:00 p.m. when he was hit, according to a statement issued by the Nassau County Police Department.
The responsible driver fled and has not been located so far.
Robert was transferred to a local hospital in serious condition and it was there that he sadly lost his life.
Sources close to the singer have confirmed that the singer and her father had a complicated relationship and so far Nicki has not made any comment about it.
