The artist published on her social network page images created using artificial intelligence, which was not very pleasant for an employee of the Sony studio
Nicki Minaj decided to remind fans of the song “Press play”, which she recorded with rapper Future. The artist published on her social media page a selection of images created using artificial intelligence.
This did not sit well with Naughty Dog employee Del Walker, who previously worked at Respawn and Rocksteady.
“You know what I realized when I saw AI-generated images in your marketing? That you don’t have money for advertising. It’s the digital equivalent of carrying an obviously fake Chanel bag. Your whole brand immediately seems weak and poor.”.
Minaj then wrote, “Great. And now”—and published another selection of AI-generated pictures, attaching Walker’s response to it.
Walker continued the discussion in the comments, statedthat the use of AI trained on the work of others is seriously harming the industry and noting that at this rate, AI will be used to create its own songs in the foreseeable future.
Minaj did not like the reaction of Walker and everyone who supported the developer in the comments.
“Babe, everyone sharing and discussing this post is just a rat on the payroll. If you don’t like something, just block me, or just get the fuck off the Internet.”.
