Nick Kyrgios hardly played all year and his timid return to Stuttgart was a real fiasco. However, the Australian remains very present on the tennis scene through his participation in various TV programs and he even started as a commentator during the ATP Finals.
In a recent interview with Piers Morgan on TalkTV; Kyrgios spoke about many private subjects including a difficult period in his life where he indulged in self-harm and where the legendary Andy Murray came to his rescue.
“He took me under his wing… I thank him a lot.”

But he also gave his opinion on the question that has been raging for almost two decades: Who is the GOAT between Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic?
Kyrgios chooses the Serbian
The native of Canberra did not hesitate much and he directly chose the Serbian, here is the explanation of his choice: “ For me Novak Djokovic is the best player of all time.
He has won 24 Grand Slam titles, and I’m sure he will win more and if you think about it it’s totally crazy! We really don’t give him the recognition we should, his merit is enormous.
He’s been playing for almost 20 years and he’s in good shape. Tennis is one of the few sports in the world where you don’t know in advance how long a match will last. It can last an hour or five hours and you have to adapt. Novak does it and does it at 36, that’s why he is for me one of the greatest athletes in history.”
