Nick Carter, a member of the famous group Backstreet Boys, would be prosecuted for sexual assault, according to documents obtained by the site TMZ.
The alleged events took place in 2001 and involved a woman who was 17 at the time.
The singer’s entourage assures TMZ that the accident never happened.
According to the documents, Nick Carter invited Shannon Ruth to hop on the band’s tour bus after a concert in Tacoma, Washington.
The teenager, suffering from autism and cerebral palsy, was allegedly offered a “VIP juice” by the singer. He thought he tasted funny, but he drank it please, according to the documents.
Now an adult, Shannon Ruth believes he served her a concoction of cranberry juice and booze, reports TMZ.
The documents then describe the sexual assault of which the teenager would have been the victim.
The singer would take her to the toilet on the bus, ask her to perform oral sex, then continue the attack in bed.
Documents seen by TMZ mention that doctors say the teen contracted HPV after the events. She claims she was a virgin before the alleged assault.
A source close to the singer denied the allegations.
“This allegation is completely false, Nick is focused on his family and mourning his brother’s death,” the source told TMZ.
