The region of Nice is one of those which, in France, has received the most Ukrainian refugees since the start of the war on February 24, according to the prefecture of Alpes-Martitimes. As of April 21, 5,079 temporary residence permits had been issued by this prefecture to Ukrainian nationals benefiting from the temporary protection granted by France.
