. After a long Corona break, the Musikverein will appear again for the first time this coming weekend – and in a completely new form. The association is organizing Umkirch’s first summer night picnic concert on Saturday, July 24th, starting at 7 p.m. Sebastian Heilemann asked the association chairman Felix Hank, who is organizing the event with deputy chairman Sascha Armbruster, what this is all about.
BZ: Mr. Hank, what do you think of a picnic concert?
Hank: We as an orchestra play in front of the grandstand in the Mühlbachstadion and the visitors are either on picnic blankets on the playing field or on chairs brought along on the cinder track. Musically, this is the first event for the club after the Corona break. …
