In the aftermath of the victory of Sam Bennett (Deceuninck – Quick Step) on the 1st step of Paris-Nice, the sprinters should still fight for the win on the 2nd stage on Monday. On the program 188 kilometers between Oinville-sur-Montcient and Amilly with only one difficulty listed, the coast of Granges-le-Roi (1.3km at 4%) located shortly before the halfway point. A massive sprint is therefore expected, but, as often on Paris-Nice, the wind could play a big role and cause edging.
