A Nice-New York return trip for only 387 euros. These are the kind of good deals now available to travelers, according to price comparison Liligo.
An extremely low price due to restrictions imposed by the United States and the impact of the health crisis on air transport. And this is likely to last, since it is already possible to find tickets similar to 250 euros for the month of October.
“Usually, it takes between 800 and 1,000 euros to afford such a ticket,” explains Guillaume Rostand, spokesperson for Liligo.
“Compared to 2019, some destinations are more expensive,” he concedes. This is the case of the Maghreb or the Dom-Tom. But as far as Europe is concerned, prices have dropped considerably, especially Lisbon, in Portugal. In July and August, round trips will not exceed 180 euros, against 250 euros on average, two years ago ”.
Barcelona, Santorini or Split at cut prices
Other destinations have seen prices drop from the French Riviera. This is the case of Santorini, Greece (-45%). It is common to find a round trip to this destination for 220 euros. The price of flights from Nice to Valletta (Capital of Malta) has fallen by -16% with a return trip to less than 200 euros.
Other European destinations to find great deals from Nice round trip: Barcelona (66 euros, or -9%), Ibiza (201 euros, or -11%) or Split in Croatia (214 euros, or -13%) .
