The negotiations turned sour. After approaching a prostitute on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice (Alpes-Maritimes) and a disagreement on the price of the service, two young men tore his handbag from him in early September 2021.
Inside was a cell phone and 50 euros.
Faced with the Nice court, they implored forgiveness while claiming that they were minors, Monday, September 6, 2021, reports Nice morning. They would eventually 20 and 19 years old, even if their identity and date of birth are unverifiable for the time being.
Six months in prison
They also denied the facts at first, but their version was contradicted because the facts were filmed.
For a price disagreement that would be around 25 euros and an inconsiderate theft from a vulnerable person, the two men were sentenced to six months in prison.
