A terrible road accident occurred this Saturday evening, November 13, around 9.15 p.m., boulevard de l’Ariane in Nice.
When the firefighters receive the alert at the emergency numbers, multiple witnesses evoke a serious traffic accident. Immediately, a detachment of five emergency vehicles and fifteen firefighters was dispatched to the scene.
Upon their arrival, the emergency services discovered a car with five occupants on board. The vehicle struck a parked heavy vehicle very violently. The emergency services attempted to resuscitate a 19-year-old young man who was ejected from the vehicle at the time of impact. After a long attempt, the SMUR doctor unfortunately had to declare his death.
Two other victims, two women in their twenties, were more lightly injured. They were evacuated to the Pasteur II hospital center. The last two passengers are unharmed. The national police present on site cut off traffic for the duration of the intervention.
