Niantic Removes Limit on Master Balls in Pokémon Go: A Statement Issued

Niantic removed the Help Center reference for the maximum number of Master Orbs you can carry in Pokemon Go after publishing a search to get a second orb.

One of the most sought after items in Pokemon has always been the Master Ball. Players are sure to catch anything, and tend to save it for a rare catch.

The Rare Ball was added to Pokemon Go in July 2023, and some Trainers have been saving the Rare Ball by trying to stockpile several of them at once.

Niantic issues a statement limiting the use of Master Balls in Pokemon Go

in the help center There is a section detailing “item types and their effects,” and there is a section on Poke Balls and how they work.

At the bottom of the first paragraph it was saying: “The Master Orb is a very rare and special type of Poké Ball with a 100% capture rate. Note that you can only carry one Master Orb in your bag at a time.”

This means that before you can get the Main Orb granted to you in the last timed quest, you must use up the orb you have if you haven’t already. Fortunately, Niantic has since removed any reference to this extent.

The latest study, Timed Investigation: Master Ball, offers a wide range of fairly challenging missions to complete in order to get the Master Ball a second time.

Many expressed their distaste for the quality of the missions, as rural players would have difficulty completing the required number of raids.
