Jakarta –
The singer’s son Nia Daniaty, Olivia Nathania or Olly, reported to Polda Metro Jaya regarding the alleged case civil servant scam. Olivia is suspected of defrauding 225 people.
“There are a total of 225 victims,” said the lawyer for the victim, Odie Hodianto, at the Polda Metro Jaya, Jakarta, Friday (9/24/2021).
“Olly’s ex’s parents old singer and was once married to a lawyer, initials ND, and for his mother the popular song (titled) ‘Glass Kaca’,” said Odie regarding the identity of the reported party.
Odie said the fraud occurred in 2019. Apart from Olivia, her husband named Rafly N Tilaar or Raf was also reported.
Promise to pass the CPNS without a test
Odie said Olivia did her action under the pretext of being able to get people to become PNS without going through the test. The Reported Party promised that the victims would be able to become civil servants through the achievement path to replace civil servants who died due to COVID-19.
“They (reported) initially said that there was an opportunity for civil servants through the achievement route or they were one who was dishonorably dismissed and died due to COVID-19. That made them interested in giving money to Olly and Raf,” said Odie.
One of the victims named Agustin recounted the beginning of being tricked. Agustin claimed to be Olivia’s teacher in high school.
Agustin said that at that time Olivia called him in 2019 and offered services related to the CPNS test. Olivia, said Agustin, promised to be able to pass her family into civil servants.
“She is late at night chat I offered, ‘Ma’am, is there anyone who wants to enter CPNS?’ I said there was my child, not someone else. He said he could because he had been carrying this for 4 years. I also don’t have any suspicions because after all he is my student,” said Agustin.
