Although he did not play in the evening game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Seattle Kraken called up Slovakian forward Marián Studenič from Coachella Valley from the lower AHL on Saturday.
Studenič was called up a day after the NHL’s youngest team placed forward Andre Burakovsky on the injured list. This is his second job in less than two weeks.
Twenty-five-year-old Záhorák played two games in this NHL season with a minus point and two penalty minutes. He played 17 games on the “farm”, in which he scored seven goals and added five assists. The last time he enjoyed a goal was on Friday.
