The Winnipeg Jets confirmed their National Hockey League playoff hopes with a 4-2 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Monday. The away win ensured that the race for the second wild card place in the Western Conference with Michael Raffl’s Dallas Stars, among others, remained exciting. The Jets are within five points of the stars who currently hold them with eight games left. At Raffl and Co. there are still ten.
