In the overseas NHL games on the night from Thursday to Friday, two Slovaks were in action – defender Erik Černák and goalkeeper Jaroslav Halák. Neither of them was happy about the victory.

Erik Černák he did not finish the duel against the Pittsburgh Penguins, he went to the dressing room during the second period with an unspecified injury. Until that moment, he had spent more than 13 minutes on the ice, during which he scored one minus point, one shot on goal and one blocked shot attempt by the opponent. The Slovak defender started in the third pair with Ian Cole. Tampa Bay lost 4-5 in overtime, failing to win for the third straight game.
Jaroslav Halák he did not continue his winning streak even in the first match of March. His New York Rangers lost to the Ottawa Senators 3-5, although they led after the first and second periods. The Slovak goalkeeper faced the fourth highest number of shots in the season, conceded 4 goals and neutralized 29 shots. His success rate reached 87.9 percent.
Slovak striker Adam Ružička he didn’t get a chance to jump into the Calgary Flames game again, he hasn’t been in the lineup since February 20th. The Canadian team recorded its fourth straight loss against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
