NHL rights transferred from Tigers defender Vili Saarijärvi to Chicago

The rights to the Finnish defender were also involved in the trade that brought Patrick Kane to Rangers. They pass from Arizona to Chicago.

A long-awaited blockbuster deal took place yesterday: The New York Rangers got Patrick Kane in a transfer involving three teams. The forward’s former club, the Chicago Blackhawks, received a number of draft picks from the Rangers and, among other things, the playing rights to Vili Saarijärvi from the Arizona Coyotes.

The Blick is now speculating that the Finnish defender, who has one year left with the SCL Tigers, could leave the National League for North America in the summer.
