Michael Raffl becomes a match winner for the Dallas Stars (43-27-5) against the San Jose Sharks (29-34-11) with a shorthander. The NHL team around the Austrian narrowly defeated the Sharks 2-1 in the race for a wild card in the Western Conference.
After Tyler Seguin (6th minute) gave Dallas a 1-0 lead, Raffl scored the decisive 2-0 in the 34th minute with a man down. After winning the puck on the left, Luke Glendening moves quickly, the backhand cross pass to Raffl, who has run with him, is ideal.
