Slovak ice hockey striker Pavol Regenda has retired from the NHL for the time being. His club Anaheim Ducks, whose first team he worked on earlier in the season, sent him to the San Diego farm team. Preparation for the new NHL season went very well for Regend, in a hot season he recorded 2 points per assist in 5 games.
The Ducks have announced the transfer of the Slovak on Twitter. The Glenn Gawdin center was called from the farm. Regnda started in the opening games, then was knocked out of the Anaheim lineup. He now he has to fight for a NHL spot on the farm again.
