NHL – NHL: Edmonton and Draisaitl back on track

Cologne (SID) – Ice hockey star Leon Draisaitl has returned to the road to success with the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL. After two defeats in a row, the Canadians won 4-3 at the Florida Panthers and celebrated an important away win in the North American professional league. Cologne’s Draisaitl scored for a 3:2 lead and marked his 36th goal of the season.

The Oilers have their sights set on the playoffs as they sit fourth in the Pacific Division. Draisaitl’s strike partner Connor McDavid set up two goals and joined the Panthers’ Jonathan Huberdeau at the top of the NHL scorers list (both 75 points) – with Draisaitl right behind with 74 points.
