NHL | Nečas’ big streak in the NHL is over. But Carolina won – Sport.cz

Nečas tied 13 games in a row for the seventh longest Czech point streak. He collected 27 points during that, which even moved him to the fourth place in the history of the Czechs. Only Jaromír Jágr (in the 2000/2001 and 1999/2000 seasons) and David Pastrňák (2019/2020) scored more times in a one-point streak.

The Czech forward came closest to extending the streak just before the halfway point of the game, when the puck bounced back to him after a shot by Dmitri Orlov. However, Nečas lost a half-open goal at 1:0 and did not put a point in 14 games.

Carolina was led by Sebastian Aho and Jalen Chatfield, who recorded a goal and an assist. The Hurricanes decided the game in the third period when Jordan Staal and Jack Roslovic scored in addition to Aha.

Thus Carolina won the third game in a row and controlled the twelfth game out of the last fourteen.

The Los Angeles hockey players came up empty-handed for the first time this season and lost the third of their last four games. Rittich eliminated 18 shots and with a success rate reaching 95 percent he caught the third best game of the year. Jason Zucker scored the lone goal early in the third period.
