In the NHL, the Colorado Avalanche and St. Louis Blues meet on Saturday (from 9:00 p.m. on the LIVE stream).
It’s the teams’ third matchup since last season’s playoff encounter. En route to the Stanley Cup title, the Avalanche prevailed 4-2 in the conference semifinals of the series.
In this regular season, the two teams faced each other twice, both were victorious once each. Colorado won the last duel 3-2 after overtime.
After a difficult period, the Avalanche got back to their old strength and are in full swing in the playoff race. The Blues are a little behind, but a win would see St. Louis catch up with the playoff spots.
