After an extremely hectic afternoon and evening (see info box), New Jersey celebrated another victory. The Devils defeated Columbus at home 4: 3 in the penalty shootout after a temporary 0: 2 deficit. Nico Hischier crowned his comeback after an injury break with a wonderful assist for a 3-2 lead in the meantime.
