NHL Game Highlights: Montreal and Pittsburgh in a Fight, New Jersey Wins Over Boston

NEWARK – New Jersey Devils hockey players won in the overseas NHL over Boston 2:1 after overtime. Slovak defender Šimon Nemec started in the elite formation of the home team and with 22:13 minutes he was the busiest player of the team.

Montreal lost at home to Pittsburgh 3:4 after raids, Juraj Slafkovský did not convert his attempt into a goal. He spent more than 22 minutes on the ice in the first attack, the most in his career. Colorado with Tomáš Tatar won over Buffalo 5:1.

The players of New Jersey could not find a recipe for goalkeeper Jeremy Swayman in the battle with Boston for more than two thirds, but in the third period Dawson Mercer tied the game at 1:1 and in extra time decided on a valuable triumph over the leader of the Eastern Conference Jack Hughes. Tatar did not score in Colorado’s win

Colorado claimed its second win in a row, defeating Buffalo 5-1 at home. Valerij Ničuškin contributed to this with two goals, Nathan MacKinnon had two assists and became the fifth player in the history of the organization to reach the goal of 800 points in the NHL. Defender Sam Malinski scored his first goal in the overseas professional league. Tatar played 13:15 minutes with a plus point for the Avalanches.
