German goaltenders Thomas Greiss (St. Louis Blues) and Philipp Grubauer (Seattle Kraken) were not used in their teams’ victories. Nashville Predators goaltender Juuse Saros blocked 64 shots on target in his team’s 5-3 (1-1, 2-2, 2-0) victory over the Carolina Hurricanes. This is the third most saves in NHL history. Ron Tugnutt has held the record since 1991 with 70 blocked shots.
