An NH Nonghyup Bank employee was charged with stealing money from customers.
The Seocho Police Station in Seoul said on the 24th that it has prosecuted and is investigating a 30-year-old Nonghyup Bank branch employee in Seocho-gu, Seoul on charges of theft.
According to a police official, Mr. A is suspected of stealing 15 million won in cash deposited by a customer who came to the bank on the 8th.
At the time, the customer asked Mr. A to bundle 170 million won in cash with 5 million won each. It was confirmed that Mr. A stole cash by hiding 15 million won in the trash in the process. The scene of the crime was captured on CCTV at the scene.
A police official said, “We are currently analyzing the CCTV footage,” and “we are investigating the details of the crime.”
