Jakarta

The police have carried out a psychological examination on NH, the wife of Hamka Rusdi (50) and the mother of Abid Qushayyi (10 months) who was found decomposing in Koja, North Jakarta. The results of the psychiatric examination showed that NH was declared to have an acute stress mental disorder.

“During the psychiatric examination, the examiner found a mental disorder, namely acute stress as a response to physical and mental stress due to a traumatic experience. And the symptoms of this disorder lasted for several days,” said Forensic Psychologist, Sistrianova, to journalists at a press conference at the Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters. North, Friday (15/12/2023).

Sistrianova said NH’s wife was in weak and sick. As a result of the examination, the person in question suffered from a number of health problems.

“Nur Hikmah obtained a general condition that was weak or appeared to be seriously ill with laboratory examination results which had the following meaning: electrolyte disturbances in the form of hyponatremia, hypokalemia, hypochloremia and HB 7 milligram anemia where in this condition a person could not carry out any activities. That’s from psychiatric team,” he said.

From a forensic psychology perspective, the wife with the initials NH was declared to have extra stress disorder.

“The results are the same, namely that there is indeed a suspicion that this NH victim is responding to what we call extra stress disorder, where there are symptoms that are displayed and this usually occurs when someone experiences a traumatic event and this only lasts immediately at the time of the incident and only “It lasts for the next 4 weeks. When it lasts for the next 4 weeks, it might turn into PTSD if it’s not treated properly,” he explained.

Research Stopped

The police stated that there were no criminal findings related to the case of the father and son who died rotting. The research was stopped.

“So in the conclusion of this investigation we state that no criminal incident was found in the case of the discovery of a body at the crime scene,” said North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Gidion Arif Setyawan to journalists, Friday (15/12/2023).

Thus, the police concluded to stop the process of investigating the case. From the results of the examination, it was concluded that the two victims died due to illness.

“Next, we declare that the investigation is closed. We conclude that investigators have concluded that the deaths of the two victims were declared natural deaths due to illness,” he said.

From the results of the examination, there was no other DNA at the scene other than the nuclear family. Apart from that, from CCTV footage, there was no other person’s activity at the scene.

“First, we make sure that at the crime scene or from the CCTV crime scene processing, then confirm with DNA examination, there is no other person’s DNA profile, there is no other profile except the nuclear family or four people we found from the crime scene, namely a father, mother and two “his son. So no one was at the crime scene. Even so, CCTV checks showed that no one was coming in or out of the crime scene,” he explained.
