The NGO Gatil Irmã Francisca is holding a cat donation fair and thrift store this Saturday (11) and Sunday (12), from 11 am to 4 pm, in Parque da Cidade, in Salvador. Around 200 kittens will be available for adoption. The action takes place during the Vegan Fair program. All items sold at the thrift store will be 100% donated to the maintenance of the NGO’s care activities.
To adopt a kitten, you must present your ID and proof of residence, as well as videos and photos of the windows and walls where you live. On the day, the cattery volunteers will do an interview to ensure that the animal will be safe. There is a fee of R$100 for the adoption of cats under 2 years old and R$50 for cats over two years old. There is no fee for special pussies. In the case of joint adoption, there is only one fee.
The thrift store will have clothes, shoes, accessories, books and bags. The sale of these items helps generate funds for food, medicine, veterinary clinic expenses and cattery cleaning staff.
