The PFL (Professional Fighters League) is an independent mixed martial arts league that has existed since 2017. Unlike the UFC, it functions like a “real” league.
On Saturday, October 19th, the heavyweight duel between Francis Ngannou and Renan Ferreira will take place in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) under the title “Battle of the Giants”.
The start of the Ngannou vs. Ferreira fight is scheduled for 10:00 p.m. German time.

Renan Ferreira is 34 years old and comes from Porangatu, Goiás (Brazil). He has been active in mixed martial arts since 2013, and “Problema” has been fighting in the PFL since 2021.

He won 13 of his 19 MMA fights. However, only three lost – the other three non-victories were recorded as “No Contest”.
Last year he had the best season of his career and won the heavyweight title with three wins – each by knockout. In February of this year, Ferreira also won the unification fight “PFL Champion vs. Bellator Champion” against Ryan Bader by TKO in round 1.
