In October 2024, rains and floods caused by the DANA (Isolated High Level Depression) caused widespread devastation in Valencia and its surrounding areas. Thousands of homes were flooded, vehicles were swept away and critical infrastructure was severely damaged. In the midst of the chaos, an extraordinary wave of solidarity emerged: volunteers from all over came spontaneously to clean mud, move vehicles, empty houses, bring food and water, and support the thousands of victims affected by the disaster.
In tribute to these heroic efforts and with the aim of raising funds for reconstruction, Valencia Game City, in collaboration with the NGO Admundi and the technological partner Crossmint, has launched MUD WARRIORS. This innovative initiative combines blockchain technology and digital art to offer a meaningful and effective way to support recovery.
MUD WARRIORS presents a collection of unique NFTs designed specifically for this cause. Each NFT acquired contributes directly to the reconstruction efforts that Admundi is carrying out in the areas most affected by DANA.
