Searching for the title of the NFC East by the team of Washington will have to wait until the last game of the regular season.
And the NFL has moved Washington’s game against Philadelphia to next Sunday, January 3, to prime time. Washington (6-9) is tied with Dallas for the division lead, but has a tiebreaker over the Cowboys. A Washington win sends him into the postseason with a home game the second weekend in January.
A loss means Dallas wins the weak division by beating the Giants (5-10) at Meadowlands. But if New York wins that matchup and Washington falls to Philadelphia, the Giants advance.
For its part, Miami will face Buffalo; Baltimore will travel to Cincinnati; Pittsburgh a Cleveland; Minnesota will face Detroit; Atlanta against Tampa Bay; and the New York Jets against the New England Pats
Then Tennessee will host Houston; Jacksonville will face Indianapolis; New Orleans vs. Carolina; Green Bay y Chicago; Las Vegas will host Denver; the Los Angeles Chargers in Kansas City; Arizona with the Los Angeles Rams; in Seattle against San Francisco in Glendale, Arizona.
