Week 8 in the NFL.

The New York Jets around superstar Aaron Rodgers are already on the verge of being eliminated from the playoffs. There are also several very interesting games and a very lucky player.

New England Patriots – New York Jets 25:22

What’s up with the New York Jets? When Aaron Rodgers was released by the Green Bay Packers in the summer of 2023, there was great euphoria. Too much. Rodgers was seriously injured on the first day of the game and was out for the entire season with a torn Achilles tendon. Now everything should be better. The offense has been significantly upgraded, and Rodgers even acquired his best friend and pass catcher Davante Adams via trade a few days ago.

But after eight weeks, the Jets are left reeling. Coach Robert Saleh was fired. Because of the Patriots offense, the Jets are now on the verge of being eliminated from the playoffs!

In the extremely close AFC, the Jets’ conference, the devastating record of two wins from eight games is far, far too little. The Jets needed a miracle to get into the playoffs. It would be a nightmare for owner Woody Johnson and the now 40-year-old Rodgers.

Against the Patriots, whose team coach Jarod Mayo described as “soft” last week, the Jets conceded the deficit with 22 seconds left. After that they try everything, but Rodgers has no chance anymore.

Miami Dolphins – Arizona Cardinals 27:28

It’s back! Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa can play after his concussion Fortunately, we can play football again on September 13th. He celebrates his comeback against the Cardinals. Tua brings hope to the Dolphins again! Without him, not much has happened offensively in the last few weeks.

But he can’t do miracles either. The Cardinals got the win with a late field goal!

Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Atlanta Falcons 26:31

Mega luck to Kyle Pitts! The Falcons tight end catches the ball, runs toward the end zone and then stops. He wants to walk casually to the touchdown. But what he doesn’t take into account: Safety Antoine Winfield Jr. coming up with the back. He knocks the ball out of Pitts’ hand.

It is clear that the referees cannot solve 100 percent. It is still a touchdown because it was the first decision.

Lucky Pitts scores two goals on Doomsday. As Koo misses a field goal, the Buccaneers still have a chance. But the Falcons defense is holding up.

Cleveland Browns – Baltimore Ravens 29:24

Mega surprise! The Browns stop a great Ravens team!

Led by a strong defense, the Browns are really getting on. Backup quarterback Jameis Winston also gives the team the peace they need, something they lacked under Deshaun Watson.

In the end, the Ravens try everything, but Lamar Jackson can’t catch a touchdown. The sense is perfect.

Detroit Lions – Tennessee Titans 52:14

The Lions sweep the Titans! The team’s head coach Dan Campbell scores an outstanding 52 points on the field.

Who: Quarterback Jared Goff throws three touchdowns – getting just 83 yards! The Amon-Ra St. Brown German-American catches one. He has now scored a touchdown in five straight games.

So in the end the second guard can play – the stars have an early end to work.

Jacksonville Jaguars – Green Bay Packers 27:30

Ouch, the Packers have to worry about Jordan Love again. The quarterback is out with a groin injury. Agent Malik Willis, who had already represented Love at the beginning of the season, will replace him.

In the end, the Packers win again thanks to kicker Brandon McManus, who has only been with the team for a short time.

Texas Texans – Indianapolis Colts 23:20

Anthony Richardson is just indecisive. The quarterback makes throws that 90 percent of the league can’t make. But he doesn’t throw what 90 percent of the league does. He is far too injury prone for that. He has to go out again against the Texans. This time, however, because he felt “tired”. Cincinnati Bengals – Philadelphia Eagles 17:37

Strong performance from Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. He throws a touchdown and runs a whopping three.

For the Bengals it is a big solution in the fight for the playoffs. Superstar Joe Burrow’s side have five losses in eight games. The Eagles, on the other hand, are on target with five wins in seven games.

Seattle Seahawks – Buffalo Bills 10:31

A big success for the Bills in Seattle – but with a small obstacle: quarterback Josh Allen throws his first shot of the season.

The Seahawks’ nerves are on edge right now. They even attack each other!

Denver Broncos – Carolina Panthers 28:14

The Denver Broncos have five wins after eight games! They show no weakness against the weak Panthers and even score one or two Play trick from the box.

The Panthers have to play quarterback Bryce Young, who wasn’t supposed to be there anymore. But Andy Dalton had a car accident during the week and is staying out. Young threw two touchdowns, two interceptions.

The Broncos, on the other hand, are even happier about their rookie quarterback Bo Nix. He completes 28 of 37 passes and throws three touchdowns.

Washington Chiefs – Chicago Bears 18:15

HAIL MARY!

The Chiefs will win at the last second. Quarterback Jayden Daniels has to throw a Hail Mary from the middle. The rookie first stays behind his O line for several seconds, shaking off several defenders. Then it takes a long throw.

The ball is in the air for a long time. His captors and several defenders try to catch the object. The ball is extended and falls into the hands of Noah Brown. Visit! Victory for the Leaders!

Las Vegas Raiders – Kansas City Chiefs 20:27

San Francisco 49ers – Dallas Cowboys 30:24

For a long time it looks like the next slap for the Cowboys. At the start of the 4th quarter, Dallas is down 17 points. In the end the attack turns up again, but too late.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott throws two touchdowns and two interceptions. On the other hand, 49ers Brock Purdy had two touchdowns and no interceptions.

San Francisco improves to 4-4, Dallas slips to 3-4. The Cowboys also have a great program waiting for them: in the coming weeks they will face the Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Texans and Washington Commanders.
